Choose the right payment plan
There are a variety of different payment plans for hosting and operating an online Shopify store. The right plan for you will depend o the amount of traffic and sales your site is likely to generate.
You are charged a fee for every sale
In order to be able to process your payments online, you are charged a fee for every sale you make in your online store by the payment gateway provider e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc. Shopify will also charge you a fee on top this of around 2%, but you can reduce this fee to 0.5% if you opt for the Advanced Shopify payment plan.
Get a forwarding email address
Shopify doesn’t host email accounts, but it does allow you to create forwarding email addresses. For example, you can set up an email address like info@myshopifyshop, and any messages you receive at this address will be forwarded to your regular business email.
Accept customer payments in a variety of ways
Shopify has its own payment gateway called Shopify Payments, but it can also be integrated with a variety of other third party payment gateways, so it’s possible for your customers to pay using credit cards, or a range of online payment processing systems like PayPal, Stripe and others.
